Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Games Edition announced

Samsung has announced a Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Games Edition.

So what’s new about this sporty version of the phablet? Don’t expect athletic specs or anything like that – its innards are identical.

Instead it’s the packaging that’s changed. It reflects the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia. Apparently it will also include tickets to skating sessions at the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium.

As such, it looks to only be offered in the Netherlands right now. No word on if it’s being offered in Russia where, you know, the Olympics are taking place.
