A fresh iPhone 7 leak has revealed additional images of the handset, showcasing the upcoming device from all angles.

Fresh images of the iPhone 7 have leaked online, showing the smartphone in the hands of a Chinese user. The pics appear to depict the ‘Space Black’ version of the iPhone 7, though there’s a few inconsistencies worth going over which may disprove its authenticity.

Fresh iPhone 7 leak to be taken with pinch of salt

Firstly, the phone appears to carry an ‘S’ moniker on the back of the handset, which would not make sense if this was the iPhone 7. Since the iPhone 6s has only just been released, it wouldn’t make sense for them to skip an entire generation and move onto the ‘S’ moniker once again.

Secondly, the three-pin smart connector is still in place on this model, which doesn’t follow earlier leaks suggesting Apple has ditched the idea. There’s also no headphone jack to be found, though recent rumours once again suggest that Apple has done a u-turn on the idea after a negative public outcry.

That said, there’s also a few things in this fresh iPhone 7 leak which also do add up. The curved antennas are there top and bottom, plus there’s a dual camera setup on the back. Both of these are things are quite likely to be included on the next iPhone handset. There also appears to be stereo speakers on the bottom, which is a change from the current mono speaker.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 7 at their yearly conference on September 7th, with pre-orders starting September 9th.
