Facebook launches Messenger for your web browser

Facebook has released a web browser version of its popular Messenger feature.

The new web version launched today and you can find it here. It focuses solely on your Facebook messages, whilst separating all other parts of the site that could otherwise get in the way of your conversations.

Facebook Messenger features

It looks like a super sized version of the mobile Messenger app and the features are pretty much the same. You can send pictures, stickers, likes and, the most important feature, chat to your friends.

Unlike the mobile app, however, you can’t to record and send voice messages.

Sound effects can be enabled or disabled, but blocking someone or changing privacy settings will redirect you to the main website.
