It’s June, which can only mean one thing: it’s time for the next IGN free game of the month!

And if it was value you wanted, then this is the deal of the century. Deus Ex: The Fall is the title in question, and if you were to dip into the iOS app store to buy it right now it would set you back a whopping £4.99 (or $6.99 if you’re stateside). IGN are giving it to you completely free of charge.

That said, it’s most assuredly worth the money. The Fall remains faithful to the formula which has made Deus Ex such an iconic franchise over the years. The blend of RPG, action, stealth and decision-based storytelling are all expertly represented in pocket-sized format.

Just like the most recent console release in the series, Human Revolution, you take control of a technically augmented soldier and travel across the globe. You kill (or not – it’s your choice!) a lot of people, all whilst asking some serious existential questions. It looks incredible, and the controls translate to mobile pretty well too (although you might find it a little easier playing on iPad rather than your iPhone). It’s also pretty demanding, so don’t be surprised if your significantly older iOS device struggles to run it smoothly.

All you need to do to get your hands on it is follow this link. You’ll be given a code to redeem, which you can do by opening the iOS App Store and selecting ‘Redeem’. Alternatively, if you’re reading this on your iOS device you can redeem it automatically by following the instructions on the page. Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry Android users, this offer’s only available for the iOS edition of the game 🙁
