Apple and Sonos have today announced that Sonos support will be coming to Apple Music.
If there’s one thing about Apple, it’s their ability to monetize every part of a given process for maximum profit. If you’re one of those who suffers from the dreaded ‘locked in’ syndrome due to Apples extensive ecosystem of closed services, you’ll be pleased to hear that Apple Music is pretty open with regards to third parties.
Spokespeople for both Apple and Sonos have announced that Sonos will support Apple Music playback by the end of the year, meaning you won’t be locked into an obligatory Apple ecosystem. This open system will presumably take on a more Spotify/ Tidal-like experience, especially as the Cupertino-based company has already announced Android support previously.
