The Sony Z4 compact may have been leaked according to popular benchmarking tool GFXBench.
A mysterious Sony handset with model number E5663 has been spotted on benchmarking website GFXBench, with some believing it could be the new Xperia Z4 Compact.
The specifications lead us to believe that the device will sit in the upper-mid tier of phones, meaning it will be a compact flagship that is placed just below the current Xperia Z4.
Small but deadly
The benchmarking website showed a device with 3GB of RAM and an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 CPU. This CPU has scored notably faster than the Snapdragon 810 in several tests, meaning you should be getting some top-flight performance. It also has a 4.6-inch screen with a very high resolution of 1080p. For a screen of this size, it should make things extremely sharp.
The rear camera won’t change much from the current crop of Sony devices, with a 20.7 megapixel shooter, however the front camera has gotten a huge boost to 13 megapixels. Selfie fans rejoice.
No word on an official reveal as of yet, though don’t expect it anytime soon. Techradar suggested that the model number E5663 means it will likely only be released in India.
