A week after the Apple developer site was taken down after an apparent hack by a Turkish security researcher the website has begun to resume some areas of functionality, according to Tech Crunch.

Apple emailed developers yesterday afternoon with an update on the state of the website, stating that the company is “working around the clock to overhaul developer systems, update our server software, and rebuild our entire database” but offers no further explanation on what triggered the site to shut down.

The company have also created a status page detailing which areas of functionality on the Apple developer site have been restored, claiming that iTunes connect and Bug Reporter are currently online but all other services have yet to be repaired.
