Sony releases Android 4.3 AOSP ROM for Xperia Tablet Z

Sony has gone and done the unbelievable, and released an Android Open Source Project ROM for the Xperia Tablet Z, meaning you can get Android 4.3 right away.

Whilst Sony has warned customers that the update isn’t suitable for day to day use just yet, if you’re really eager to try out the latest and greatest from Google, then you can go grab it now.

It’s not just the Xperia Tablet Z that is getting Android 4.3 either, with the company confirming plans on bringing the update to its line of smartphones, including the Xperia Z, ZL, ZR, Z Ultra and SP — although more budget friendly Xperias seem left out.
