Alcatel announces new entry-level smartphone

Alcatel has today announced the UK release of the PIXI 3, the smallest smartphone in its third generation PIXI family.

With just a 3.5″ display, it has its sights squarely focused on the first-time smartphone user. It comes pre-loaded with frequently used apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and graphic filters plus photo editors.

The device runs on Android 4.4. (KitKat) and comes with a 2MP camera, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4GB internal memory, 512MB RAM and a 1300mAh battery which offers up to 7 hours talk time.

It’s available from Sainsbury’s stores nationwide in White.
