Acer announces Liquid Z3 budget Android phone

If you needed another option for a budget Android phone, Acer has just gone and given you one with the Liquid Z3.

The device features a 3.5″ touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480, a little low by today’s standards matching that of the original iPhone.

Internal specs are not that impressive either, with a 3 megapixel camera, 4GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM and dual-core 1GHz processor.

You get Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on-board, so almost the latest version, and you’ll even have some Quick Modes to help you setup your phone depending on your typical usage for a phone.

That said this is a device that will only set you back £79.99 — so it’s almost in the territory of impulse buy.

You’ll not get 4G connectivity but you will have the option of a dual SIM card slot, which is somewhat of a rarity in the UK.

The Liquid Z3 will launch at Asda in mid-august and will be available in Rock Black and Classic White colours.
