Apple’s latest update for iPhone and iPad, iOS 7.1.1, is now available to download, fixing keyboard issues and improving the fingerprint scanner.
iPhone and iPad users can shuffle over to the ‘Software Update’ section in their device’s settings today and download the latest OS update, iOS 7.1.1. This latest iOS update addresses a couple of issues, namely improving the fingerprint scanner and fixing some keyboard-based bugs.
Apple states the iOS 7.1.1 update adds ‘further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition’, and also fixes a keyboard bug that affects responsiveness.
You can download iOS 7.1.1 right now directly onto your iPhone or iPad by going to the Settings, then ‘General’, and then ‘Software Update’.
Remember that you’ll need at least 50% battery power, however, or your device will refuse to download.
