Windowshop app review

We did plenty of shopping on our iPads in the run-up to Christmas through websites alone. However, Amazon’s new Windowshop native app for iPad makes the process much more tablet-friendly.

It takes the Amazon.co.uk website, and turns it into a swipable image-heavy store, letting you flick between products, and then digging into any images and videos associated with them. Naturally, there’s also a powerful search feature, and the usual Amazon back-end ordering – including 1-click checkout. It’s an excellent app, but be warned, you will spend more money as a result of downloading it!
