Where would parents be without Supernanny? The parenting show has been hugely popular both in the UK and now the US too.

An official app was inevitable, but thankfully it’s actually pretty good.

It includes parenting tools like a mobile reward chart, and a time-out counter so you know exactly how long to leave your child stewing in their rage.

It also has tips and advice on key parenting dilemmas, and a few simple games too, to make it fun for the kids.

Oh, and unsurprisingly there’s also a shop option, given that Supernanny is now a global brand.

Translate app review
There isn’t so much as an inch of fat on Translate’s bones – even the title drops all but the most essential of words. This is a strictly functional translation app, but it works very well indeed – you choose your languages, type a phrase and tap to translate.

Lookout Premium app review
Everyone’s favourite Android security app has now received a Premium version which adds remote wiping, remote locking, and enhanced backup and restore features. The latter is perhaps the most interesting feature for everyday users, as it now lets you back-up and transfer your photos should you change phone.
