David Guetta is a globetrotting superstar DJ who’s also found time to produce artists like Rihanna, Madonna and the Black Eyed Peas. A man with clout, in other words.

Now he’s released an iOS beatmaking app, which includes hundreds of samples for you to use in making your own electro-pop hits.

It’s a powerful tool too, comparable to ‘proper’ music creation apps like Beatmaker, rather than simple remix apps that get you to press a few buttons.

£5.99 may seem expensive, but there is bags of depth here to get you putting together beats and tracks.

Translate app review
There isn’t so much as an inch of fat on Translate’s bones – even the title drops all but the most essential of words. This is a strictly functional translation app, but it works very well indeed – you choose your languages, type a phrase and tap to translate.
