Most of us don’t have $10,000 (about £6,464) to splash out on a gold-plated Apple Watch Edition. There’s hope out there as a new service can make the cheapest Apple Watch look like the most expensive one.
Head here and you’ll find an unboxing and hands-on video featuring an Apple Watch with gold plating and a link bracelet that costs less that you’d expect.
Apple Watch in gold
The featured Watch was dressed up by a new service called WatchPlate. The service can turn the cheapest Apple Sport model into an 18-karat gold device. It takes just four business days and costs $399 (about £258). These are experts with nearly a century of combined experience and they’ll even chuck in free round-trip shipping.
The gold plating is available in either yellow or rose gold and they even offer bands like the Link Bracelet that’s unavailable to regular Apple Watch Edition customers.
