You might not have noticed but a tiny little device by the name of the Xbox One launched last Friday. Turns out it sold quite well, too.

The system shifted 1 million units on its first day of sale. This number, direct from Microsoft, is said to be ‘sold through’, meaning actually sold to consumers as opposed to just retail outlets. Microsoft would tell you that the system is now sold out, although we’re sure with a bit of searching you’d be able to unearth a few units in the wild.

Meanwhile, the PS4 is set to launch this week across Europe. Get ready for all out war on the console front, then.
