Wileyfox are back with three new devices that will not test your bank balance, the entry level Wileyfox Spark will set you back only £89.99

British smartphone manufacturer Wileyfox has today unveiled the Wileyfox Spark, Spark+ and Spark X. The Spark is the entry level of the three with the super attractive price of £89.99. It measures at 5-inches with a 720p panel. Also for your money you’ll get a Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor, which is also seen on the high-end Spark X. Also in the two is 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD slot, 2,200mAh battery, 8MP front camera and 8MP rear camera.

Not exactly an impressive spec sheet, but for a price that’s under £100, it sounds about right.

If you want to go for something a bit heavier there’s the £114.99 Spark+ to consider. You’re getting a lot of what the standard Spark offers: 5-inch 720p display, Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor, 2,200mAh battery, microSD slot and 8-megapixel front0facing camera.

The boost is seen with 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera.

The final device is the Spark X, a 5.5-inch phablet for those that love screen real estate. For more information on the Spark X click here.

It was revealed at the unveiling all three devices will not feature NFC, despite the recent launch of Android Pay and its rising popularity. Co-founder Nick Muir states aggressive pricing to be the reason for the lack of NFC. Muir admits Android Pay as accelerated quickly in the UK and Wileyfox will adopt the technology one day, but not with the Spark range.

The Spark range does however are 4G ready devices with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, overlaid with Cyanogen 13.0, straight out of the box.

The Spark + is on pre-registration today with delivery in 4 weeks, and the WileyFox Spark X will follow a week after that.
