Four new devices expected on October 13

The expectations for Apple’s launch event for the iPhone 12 on October 13 could not be any higher.

Four new devices are expected at the launch of Apple’s newest range along with the anticipated release of Apple AirTags and its own over-ear headphones.

If reporters are to be believed, there will be four new models of the devices with screens ranging from 5.4 inches to 6.7 inches.

The largest of the models will reportedly be called the iPhone 12 Pro while the smallest is rumoured to be called the iPhone 12 mini.

It is also rumoured that the iPhone 12 will be sold without headphones, a charger, or a plug adapter in the box – which would be a controversial way to sell its latest flagship.

All devices are expected to 5G compatible – a first for Apple. The vendor will attempt to close the gap between its competitors who have already introduced the new technology.

The smartphone vendor is also expected to launch the Apple AirTags – which are similar to the Tile Bluetooth trackers and its own brand of over-ear headphones after it dropped third party labels.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic means that the launch event is set to be broadcast online and can be streamed live at 6 pm on October 13.
