WATCH: Swarovski is making a crystal-encrusted Samsung Galaxy S5 for some reason

Gold iPhones we can understand. They’re a fashion statement. iPhones are cool, and they already have a metal back. People like gold. If you could afford it, you’d probably wear a gold watch, so why not use a gold phone? It makes sense.

So how about a Swarovski-coated Samsung Galaxy S5? Doesn’t really conjure up the same image, does it? The Galaxy S5 feels cheap, because it is cheap. It’s made of plastic, with a weird faux-leather/rubberised rear case. It’s not really got the cool factor either.
