The leak to end all leaks has surfaced – a whopping 12 minutes of video of the Sony Xperia D6503 Sirius, which could potentially become the Xperia Z2.
YouTuber/good Samaritan/corporate scourge Rimas Flyil published the video in which he satisfies almost every wanton desire you could have from a leak video.
They claim that the handset is a prototype running an ‘unstable’ version of Android’s KitKat firmware (with Sony’s overlay).
An unashamed iPhone patriarch, this reporter is a self-confessed fan of the Xperia Z1 – an excellent Android handset in both build quality and function, so it’s easy to get excited over this footage. The handset itself is fantastically slim, if a little large on the bezels, whilst the display looks sharp with smooth animations.
Whether or not there is enough of a difference between this handset and the Z1 to make it the Z2 outright remains to be seen, but were it to become an addition to the Z1 range Sony should be on to a winner.
