Vodafone has launched its Red XXL 4G plan, offering customers a rather sizeable 13GB monthly data allowance.
Of course the tariff doesn’t come cheap, with rates starting at £45 per month, enabling customers to stream 3,000 songs on Spotify or watch 26 full length football matches on Sky Sports Mobile TV.
The cheapest tariff comes packaged with a very respectable Motorola Moto G smartphone. High-end handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, iPhone 5s, Sony Xperia Z1 and HTC One are free on a £57 a month deal.
The plan joins Vodafone’s other three 4G tariffs currently available. Red 4G offers 3GB of data, Red L 4G 5GB and Red XL 4G 9GB. All four offer unlimited minutes and texts, as well as 500MB of free Wi-Fi.
They also include access to Sky Sports Mobile TV and Spotify Premium. Both are free for the first six months, with the former costing £4.99 a month and the latter £9.99 a month thereafter.
The operator said that with 13GB of data, customers could watch 26 full length football matches on Sky Sports Mobile TV and stream 3,000 songs using Spotify Premium.
Vodafone launched its 4G services on August 29th. Last month it revealed half-a-million customers had signed up to the superfast network, which is now available in 12 cities, 115 towns and districts and 80 towns and districts in and around London and the South East.
The network covers 36% of the UK population, with the operator targeting indoor population coverage of 98% by the end of 2015.
