The popular British car show Top Gear has released a free-to-play game for iOS and Android entitled Race the Stig.

The title’s concept involves racing the show’s mysterious driver in an endless driving format. Users will have to collect golden nuts across the levels all the while jumping, ducking and dodging obstacles and other vehicles.

The game includes some of the show’s most famous cars ‘ including Richard Hammond’s beloved Oliver, Jeremy’s Italian police car (complete with Ben Hur wheels) and James’ Amphibious Triumph Herald.

The game’s developer, Supersonic Software, has also confirmed that new content will regularly be added to the title.

Although the game is free, it does use in-app purchasing for players that want to buy extra nuts and spanners in order to customise their vehicles.

Race the Stig isn’t the first Top Gear themed mobile game, previous titles include Top Gear Stunt School and Top Gear Stunt School Revolution.
