After a bit of a slip up on its own part, Asus has confirmed something it no doubt intended to reveal at CES next week – the VivoTab Note 8.

The company recently posted the manual for the device on its own site. Shortly thereafter it had to confirm the thing, complete with specs. The Windows 8.1 slate boasts an Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core CPU along wiith 2GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage.

Its touchscreen is at 1280×800 which can be used with a dedicated stylus. There’s also front and rear cameras and a microSD slot to boot. The price is said to be at $300.

Still, there’s enough details left up in the air for a CES announcement. We don’t know pricing for all models or release dates, so expect Asus to reveal all on the Vivotab Note 8 next week.
