The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is a bit of a mouthful of a name, and it’s not even entirely accurate. As we found out today, the new tablet won’t be launching in 2014, rather next month on October 10th in the US. Sure, this type of naming happens all the time – we’re just saying.

More details about the 10.1’s price in the States have also been revealed, though not in their entirety. Right now we know that the 10.1 will be launching with 16GB and 32GB models, but we only know the pricing for the Wi-Fi-enabled models, and not the more advanced sets that come with 3G or LTE too. For the 16GB Wi-Fi model, the price is set at $549.99 (3342), while the 32GB model goes for a bit higher at $599.99 ( £374). Pre-orders start as of today.

As for the release in other regions? No word yet, but we’re hoping fore details soon. The 10.1 2014 edition launches (in 2013) with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and a 10.1-inch LCD display.
