Soundrop and Deezer teaming up

Last week we reported that music streaming service Deezer would soon be launching in the US but that’s far from all the company has planned at the moment. Integration with the Soundrop music app is coming too.

Soundrop is a service that creates digital listening rooms for users to take part in. Users vote on songs to be played, and can chat to each other while it’s on in the background. Sometimes the artists themselves will get in on the action. The service is already available on the likes of Spofity and will now be launching on Deezer’s service.

To celebrate, Deezer is offering exclusive rooms for its users, including Italian beatmaker Sir  Bob Cornelius Rifo a.k.a The Bloody Beetroots today at 4pm. French producer and PartyFine label founder Yuksek will also be on Wednesday 27th November, 6pm.

Other artists on the service include the likes of Imagine Dragons and Owl City. Not a bad idea, this.
