The Sony Xperia Z5 has come out top on a well-known camera benchmarking test, beating all other smartphone devices.
Professional camera benchmarking website DxOMark has a new smartphone photography champion. The Sony Xperia Z5 has officially overtaken the Samsung Galaxy S6 as the best smartphone camera on the market, narrowly beating its overall result by a single point.
It scored 87/100, with autofocus coming out highest on test. The flash was also rated highly, with good exposure and white balance noted when in use. The Sony Xperia Z5 ships with the newest 23 megapixel Exmor RS sensor, which features blisteringly fast autofocus speeds and an improved digital zoom which reduces the quality loss usually associated.
