More rumours have surfaced about Qualcomm’s new processor, the Snapdragon 820.

Qualcomm took a big hit with Samsung deciding to use their own in-house processor over the Snapdragon 810. Which proved to be a wise decision as the Exynos 7420 proved to be a superior processor, as Samsung utilised it well and optimised the chipset.

The Snapdragon 810 has an infamous reputation for heating up rapidly, causing complaints from consumers. The 810 also did not feature custom cores, sticking with the standard ARM cores, whereas its predecessor the 805 had custom cores.

Analyst Pan Jiutang said it will be 50% faster than the Exynos 7420, releasing details about the new Qualcomm processor.
