Just a week after launching a brand new revamped version of the popular video and instant messaging app for the Android OS, Skype have released and update to fix issues reported by users.

The new patch makes it easier for users to sign out from anywhere on the app and bugs have also been fixed that prevented users from logging in or making calls if their statuses had been set to ‘offline’ before updating to the new version.

Other minor updates include giving Android users the freedom to better manage the app’s battery consumption, take control over forwarding calls from the app and change the settings to affect how often updates from the app will appear in the status bar
