A new video game created by the brains behind Fallout 4 has been released.
Fallout Shelter, which is based on the Fallout franchise, has you create your own nuclear shelter or vault. As the vault’s overseer, you’re responsible for keeping your underground base and its residents in good nick.
The Fallout series is set in a post-apocalyptic world that’s been ravaged by a nuclear war. Fallout Shelter has a 2D art style based on Fallout’s Pip-Boy characters, with gameplay similar to the Sims. Residents in your vault can perform various activities and reproduce to create new residents. Different parts of your vault are designed to help your underground community flourish and grow.
Fallout Shelter is free to download on iOS. There are no paywall timers and it requires no internet connect to play.
