Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Users Will Get Discount On Note 8

During the Galaxy Note 8 launch earlier today, Samsung announced that owners of its predecessor can expect a hefty discount.

The Korean electronics giant has announced that owners of the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 can get up to $425 if they trade-in the device against the new Note 8 through the official Samsung website. The discount will be available as soon as the handset is available for pre-order on August 24th.

It’s a smart move that will surely give incentive to disillusioned owners of the Note 7. Currently, the offer only seems to be in the USA however we would expect it in European and Asian markets too, given that they also accounted for a large volume of faulty handsets.
