Samsung have responded to claims of the Galaxy S6 being too fragile, by dropping it. A lot.

After gadget warranty firm SquareTrade recently posted a video suggesting that the Galaxy S6 is more likely to bend than the iPhone 6 Plus as well as being much too fragile. Samsung have taken steps to respond and refute all claims.

Samsung responded to SquareTrade’s claims by stating:

All our devices are put rigorous high-quality validation tests before they are delivered to consumers. These tests include various conditions, such as dropping, bending, and breakage. And we are confident that all our smartphones are not bendable under daily usage.”

Now in another step to help with the street cred of their S6, Samsung have released their own drop test video.
Focussing on both the S6 and S6 Edge, this drop test showreel highlights the two handsets being drop from all angles and varying heights.

Check out the video below, if not just for the comedy value of a man being paid to simply drop phones.
