Ridley Scott working on Halo movie?

Ridley Scott could be producing a Halo movie.

The exciting rumour springs from Production Weekly, which posted on Twitter: ‘The HALO project is a live-action feature-length digital produced by Ridley Scott…’.

We’ve heard plenty of Halo movie rumours in our time, but this is the first time Ridley Scott has been attached to the project. Based on the famous director’s work on Alien, it could be amazing. Based on Prometheus it could be, uh, okayish.

Little else is known about the project other than that Paul Scheuring has been pulled on to write it. Is it possible that this is linked to the Xbox One Halo TV project that was announced last year?

We’ll hopefully find out more details that project soon.
