Great sound, great value 4/5

Groov-e are well known for producing well-made, quality products for reasonable prices, and the company’s streak of solid gadgets continues with the Groov-e Ultra headphones.

Key Features:

  • 15 hours wireless playback
  • Hands-free calling
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Rechargeable battery
  • Wireless charging

The Groove-E Ultra headphones support wireless charging and 15 hours of wireless playback. This represents a solid battery life for the price and the headphones last significantly longer than my original Apple Airpods.

There isn’t much to shout about when it comes to the design of the headphones. While it may look sleek to some, it really is just a straightforward, no-nonsense look that isn’t innovative in any way, nor does it need to be.

Despite that, the swivel ear cups and soft ear cushions provide a decent level of comfort. I had no problems with the headphones sliding off of my head while running, which is a problem I sometimes have with earbuds.

The controls, power button, and charging port are located on the left cup of the headphones and are easy to navigate.

The audio quality of the headphones is fantastic for the price. The Groov-e Ultra’s offer excellent noise cancellation and overall sound quality which is refreshing for a price range that lacks just that.

One thing to note on the performance of the headphones is that you may have to fiddle with the bass of the music on either Spotify or Apple Music. If the bass was too high, the audio would often sound fuzzy, but I rectified this situation by going to the settings in Spotify and changing it.

Overall, the Groov-e Ultra headphones are great for day-to-day use and offer excellent audio and impressive, long-lasting battery life.

The Groov-e Ultra headphones are available for £35 on Groov-e’s website.
