Groov-e are well known for producing well-made, quality products for reasonable prices, and the company have also been known to delve into gadgets for cars from time to time.

With the Wireless Car Mount, Groov-e offer 10W charging that fits all devices between 53mm and 97mm. One of the advantages of the gadget is that it allows charging in both portrait and landscape which is a great addition since while driving, I tend to prefer looking at my map in landscape. This is a feature which my previous phone holder didn’t offer and is one that is certainly welcome.

In the box, users will find the wireless charger, a window mount, an air vent mount and a USB-C cable.

The gadget also offers 360-degree rotation and comes with both an air vent mount and a window mount offering users the choice of where to put it.

I found that the mount was reasonably secure throughout my time using the product. Although with certain road humps, this will be tested, my phone has only fallen out once on a particularly bad hump but has faired better than I expected.

The 10W wireless charging time is the highlight here. It charges my iPhone XR much faster than any of the cables I own and this is a feature I expect more car holders to come with in order to compete in a market that is becoming more and more populated.
