Red Nexus 5 now available

Those looking for a bolder option for their mobile phone will be happy to hear that the Google Nexus 5 is now available in bright red.

The handset is currently only available online through the Google Play Store.

The new splash of colour won’t put your bank balance in the red, however, with Google choosing to release the new version at the same price as the existing black and white options. You can pick up the Nexus 5 for £299 ($349) for the 16GB iteration and £339 ($399) for the 32GB handset.

The phone’s specs remain the same and include a 5-inch 1080p display, a 2.26GHz Qualcomm 800 Snapdragon quad-core processor and the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat.
