We’re almost at launch day for the PS4 and retailers are currently working hard to get ready. That includes one outlet you probably didn’t expect to see selling systems – O2. The company is to offer a PS4 bundled with a Xperia Z1 on launch.
The deal will be available in limited supply across 65 O2 stores on Friday. Buying one isn’t as simple as paying for it as you might expect. Instead, the bundle comes at £89.99 upfront and then costs £52 a month. Included in the deal is a 12-month PS Plus subscription, Killzone: Shadow Fall, and the phone with unlimited minutes and 1GB of data.
£52 a month might sound like a heck of a lot, but when you add up the £350 console, £40 game, £40 subscription and, oh, that £500 phone, it would take a number of months for the price to stack up. Over a 24-month contract, though, the total price would be £1337.99.
A PS4 bundled with a Xperia Z1 isn’t the only type of hardware deal to get Sony’s new system with. We earlier heard that the system will also be bundled with the PS Vita system.
