Russian technology wesbite Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru believes that a smaller variant of the popular LG G4 could be released very shortly and has leaked images to prove it.
LG are preparing to release a smaller variant of the LG G4 which will feature mid-range specs at a more competitive price-point. Looking exactly like its bigger brother, the LG G4 S is expected to feature a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and an 8-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus and dual-LED flash. The device will also boast a smaller 5-inch screen with a lesser resolution of 1920 x 1080.
While we’re not entirely sure how LG intends to position the device within the line-up, it’s likely that it will sit between the LG G4 and the newly released LG Spirit 4G. There is a glaring gap in the middle of the market that LG needs to fill with a new device; the LG G4 S could be the answer they are looking for.
A full reveal for the device is expected very soon, with a launch date shortly after.
