Need Pokémon GO now? Well you’ve come to the right place as we’ve figured out how to download the new augmented reality game.
Pokémon GO is rolling out now for the App Store and Play Store, but not every country is seeing the game appear on their respective stores. Prospective Pokémon masters in the US and Japan are yet to see a release strangely, as both were previously test markets for the beta. Australia and New Zealand have started seeing the new game appear on Android and iOS.
As for us here in the UK, we’re sort of stuck in a weird limbo where we weren’t beta testers and not much is mentioned about our release. So we decided to take matters in our own hands and get Pokémon GO now!
Pokémon GO now, right now
Being on Android has one particular huge advantage, and that’s APK files. That’s right you can download the Pokémon GO APK file right now on your smartphone, on APK Mirror. We’ve tested it already and got ourselves a Charmander because Charmander is the best starter Pokémon, if you argue against that, I will fight you.
If you’re currently running an Android N preview on your device, note that Pokémon GO will not work on it yet.
Pokémon GO is an augmented reality game, using software and camera sensors to shape a Pokémon world around our own Pokémon-less reality.
A wearable will also be released at a later date to aid you in your quest, to be the very best, like no one ever was. The wearable will be called Pokémon GO Plus and will set you back $35 (£25). It will notify you with LED lights when a Pokémon is near your proximity.
What are you waiting for? GO and catch ’em all!
