In a leaked promotional advert, the OnePlus X has had it’s price revealed ahead of the official unveiling event in India.

The leaked advert came from Chinese social media site Weibo. The advert also shows us for the first time what the new handset will look like, with the official price emblazoned on too. According to the advert the OnePlus X will retail at 1,699 Chinese Yuan, which roughly converts to £174. With VAT added we can expect it to retail in the UK for £210 on October 29th. The revealed price will put it under OnePlus’ recent release the OnePlus 2, which retailed for £289.99.

A filing from the Federal Communications Commission showed a black handset with a 5.5 inch display, with a camera on the top left, a Micro USB port. There also seems to be a metal frame around the edge of the device. Other details from the filing includes a 1.9GHz processor, along with all the usual connectivity and wireless standards, including LTE support, Bluetooth, GPS, an FM radio and Wi-Fi.

If all the information provided proves to be true, then OnePlus are going into the mid-range market, going into competition with the Nexus 5X and HTC One A9.
