Huawei have today officially announced the Honor 5X to follow up from the Honor 4X.
The new mid-range device will sport a 5.5 1080p display, powering it all is a Snapdragon 616 processor with a 64-bit quad-core 1.7 GHz and 1.2 GHz cores. It will be complimented with either 2GB and 3GB, both version will have 16 GB of expandable internal memory.
There will be a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device, which will apparently unlock your phone in 0.4 seconds. The main camera will 13 megapixels and selfie camera 5 megapixels.
The battery impresses over other mid-rangers with 3000 mAh and will support Fast Charge 3.0, which has shown to give smartphones over 50% of juice in 30 minutes.
The 2GB RAM variant of the phone will retail for £104 (CNY 999), while the version with 3GB RAM will be available for £144 (CNY 1,399). A UK release remains to be seen.
