The OnePlus Two’s release date has been teased for June 1.
The Chinese manufacturer hinted towards that date by tweeting: “We’re always looking for ways to shake up the tech industry. And we think it’s time for change. Find out more June 1.”
It’s been over a year since the OnePlus One, a favourite of ours, was released. Its follow-up, the Two, is expected to follow the same invite-only scheme as the OnePlus One.
OnePlus Two invite
This invite-only system means that availability will be limited at first, but this will allow the brand to increase production and hype on a budget.
If the Two is anything like its predecessor, expect high-end specs. It’s rumoured that the phone will have a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM. There may also be a 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 3,300 mAh battery.
Expect to find out more from June 1.
