An anonymous source has leaked details regarding the release and specs of the rumoured OnePlus Mini.
The industry has predicted for a while that a new smartphone will be released by OnePlus this year in November or December. The speculated price is around $250, which sounds about right for a “mini” phone and for the OnePlus brand.
It will sport a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, resulting in 440 dpi, the average for smartphones is 300. The display is going to be protected with either Corning Gorilla Glass 3 or 4.
Internal memory being 32GB, which isn’t that impressive, but there is microSD slot to expand the memory further. Which the OnePlus 2 lacks. The OnePlus 2 lacked an NFC chip which the “mini” will apparently have, perfect for when Android Pay launches.
Further details include a 13 megapixel camera which supports 1080p recording, with the secondary camera weighing in at 5 megapixels. Battery life will be no problem as a 3000-3100 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery will be packed in the back. Which you can thankfully charge with a USB Type-C connector with Quick Charge 2.0.
