OnePlus 5 Australian Release Date Revealed

OnePlus staff member Steven G announced on the forum that sales for the OnePlus 5 will open on Tuesday, August 29th at 10am AEST.

Pricing for the handset will be as follows:

6GB RAM + 64GB Storage version $599

8GB RAM + 128GB Storage version $699

Colour choices available will be Midnight Black and Slate Grey. OnePlus is also offering a free Sandstone Protective Case with every handset purchase for a limited time.

The company was quick to say that this is a soft launch, so current prices are not indicative of how much the device will cost when it undergoes a wider release. OnePlus will be holding a number of events in September across Australia to promote the flagship, including Sydney and Melbourne.
