Old iPhones turned into house art by repair company

Twice Used is an iPhone repair company with a difference. It’s fixed a lot of old iPhones in its time, which means a lot of throwaway parts. But instead of condemning these cracked displays and frizzled chips to the landfill, employee Chris Koerner started turning them into art.

The leftovers started being incorporated into coffee tables, photo frame, clocks, and coasters. You can see the clock below, as an example. Even the home buttons have been transformed into jewellery. Despite having plenty of broken materials in stock, Koerner is having trouble keeping up with demand – the coffee table takes up 100 screens all by itself.

However, a kickstarter campaign should help him along his way. It’s a pretty neat idea, and a great way to deal with leftover bits and bobs.
