At Nokia World, outgoing Nokia CEO Stephen Elop bolstered the company’s Asha line of feature phones, with a “design unique to Nokia.” The body of the 500, 502 and the 3G 503 will be available in a range of colours with a clear plastic body.
Both the 502 and 3G 503 will feature a 5-megapixel camera which can be launched by swiping up on the phone, with options for white balance, flash and other necessary settings. You’ll also be able to directly share your photos directly from the camera roll to a range of social networks — including WhatsApp which will be made available for the entire Asha range of phones from next month.
The Nokia Asha 500 will feature a 2-megapixel camera, although it’ll be available for a rather cheap $69 when it launches in Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. It’s screen measures in at 2.8 inches while all others are at 3 inches.
The Nokia Asha 502 will go for a tad more in the same regions at $89, but you’ll get a dual-SIM configuration as well as that 5-megapixel camera.
If you live in a 3G-enabled area within Africa, Asia-pacific, Latin America and the Middle East, then you’ll also have the option for the $99 Asha 503 with 3G. You’ll have the choice between dual and single SIM configurations.
