Nokia Lumia 1020 available for pre-order from online retailer

Online retailer Unlocked-Mobiles.com has put the Nokia Lumia 1020, or Lunia 1020 as the page title suggests, up for preorder with the price set at a rather steep £549.98 SIM-free.

Whilst it’s not the steepest we’ve seen, and we could definitely justify the costing of buying one — many current Lumia users will be disappointed by the price point, which makes it one of the most expensive Lumia smartphones to date.

Nokia has yet to announce availability of the Lumia 1020, but it has long been rumoured that the device is set to hit UK shores in September, a date which Unlocked-Mobiles expects to receive its shipment.
