The Lumia 1520, Nokia’s phablet previously known as Bandit, and codenamed Beastie at AT&T, is set to be announced on September 26 according to master leaker evleaks.

It was evleaks who has previously shared photos of the Lumia 1520, including a press shot of the smartphone, which will be the first Windows Phone with a 6-inch display and a 1080p display.

The Lumia 1520 is supposedly going to be unveiled in New York, the place where Nokia also announced the Lumia 1020 — the phone that is set to arrive in the UK later today.

It’s widely rumoured that the Lumia 1520 could be the last phone developed by Nokia before the company becomes a part of Microsoft.
