The LG V10 goes on sale today in South Korea for 799,700 South Korean Wons.

799,700 South Korean Wons converts to approximately £451. If we see this kind of price for the V10 in the UK, it’ll be one of the best bargains for a smartphone for its calibre.

LG have included a two front facing cameras, one with a field of view of 80 degrees and the other 120 degrees, making selfie sticks a thing of the past. Next to the cameras is a secondary screen which you an use to launch apps quickly if left on. The secondary screen will only drain the battery by 5% according to LG, if left on all day, alternatively it can be switched off.

The V10 has a 5.7 inch QHD screen, putting it near phablet territory. It has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 which results in an awe-inspiring 513 dots per inch. Separating you from the pixels is Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 the latest screen technology you an get from the American glass tech company.

Running things is Snapdragon 808 with 4GB of ram for all your multitasking needs. Internal memory is 64GB which can be expanded via microSD (up to 128GB). The V10 has the same camera 16 megapixel camera as the LG G4, which you can expect to have laser focus and optical image stabilisation. For those massive group selfies (watch how you get more party invites), there is 5 megapixel for you to play with.

On the power front the V10 has a 3000 mAh battery which supports fast charging. 40 minutes of charge would give you 50%. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the pack to add to the convenience the V10 offer.

There is no mention of a release outside of South Korea yet.
