A strange place to see a leak, it seems that someone has gotten their hands on the G5 and got bored of it already.
On Dubai’s equivalent of Gumtree the G5 has gone up for the price of 2500 Dirhams, equivalent to £475. Not a bad price for a new flagship device. The advert for the G5 has since been taken down with website Dubizzle only displaying the LG G4 for sale.
The pictures from the advert were thankfully saved as they revealed a lot about the upcoming G5. LG will dump the all plastic seen on the G4 for a full metal body on the G5 and sport a dual-camera setup on the back. The bottom of the G5 indicates that rumours of a slide out bottom for removable batteries, may be true. Or it could just be an aesthetics thing.
In the above photo you can lightly make out the second screen across the top of the device, meaning the G5 will have that dual-display that was heavily rumoured. The G5 will be announced 21st February at Mobile World Congress. It will be one of two devices that LG will announce this year. It’s not known if LG will announce the second device at MWC.
