LG has today begun rolling out an update which fixes the worrying Stagefright vulnerability on their flagship LG G4.
If you’re an Android user, then chances are that you’ve heard of the Stagefright exploit, which allows a hacker complete access to your phone just by sending an MMS message. With no universal update in sight, the problem is left up to the manufacturers to fix. We’ve already seen Samsung patch the S6 and S6 Edge, so it’s nice to see LG following suit and releasing a patch that aims to fix the issue on the G4.
The update weighs in at 46.78MB and should be rolling out to devices across the States today. If you can’t be bothered to wait, keep manually checking for updates and it should arrive.
